Digital Campaigns & Social Media Manager

The Role

Own end-to-end digital campaigns and social media presence across platforms at One Big Future (OBF), translating long-term thinking into content that travels, engages, and builds community.

What You'll Do

  • Conceptualise, execute, and monitor digital campaigns across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X 
  • Script, shoot, and edit short-form video content including reels, clips, and podcast excerpts
  • Research, write, and design creatives, carousels, and visual assets using Canva and similar tools
  • Develop platform-specific content strategies that reflect OBF's editorial voice and positioning
  • Track and analyse performance metrics across platforms and use data to optimise content and campaigns
  • Manage content calendars and ensure consistent, high-quality output across all channels
  • Collaborate closely with the editorial and research team to adapt long-form content for digital formats

What We're Looking For

  • Deep familiarity with the algorithms, formats, and best practices for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X
  • Strong conceptual ability to take a complex idea and turn it into a campaign, with an understanding of how editorial content travels across formats
  • Hands-on video shooting and editing skills, with comfort working with minimal crew
  • Proficiency in Canva for creatives and basic motion graphics
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to read platform data and translate it into decisions
  • Ability to move fast and work autonomously without compromising on quality
  • India-focused perspective with global awareness

Preferred Experience

  • 3–5 years in digital campaigns, social media management, or content production
  • Experience working with a media, think tank, policy, or purpose-driven organisation is a plus
  • A portfolio that demonstrates both creative range and analytical rigour
  • Purely execution-only or purely analytics-only backgrounds are NOT a fit
