Kundana K. Lal is a thought leader and practitioner in artificial intelligence with over 30 years of senior IT leadership experience across technology, R&D, and business development. He spent a decade at Syntel as Vice-President and Head of R&D and Migration Factory, and later served as Vice-President at Capgemini heading CSD and Cloud AD deliveries for Continental Europe. He holds an M.Tech in computational intelligence and his expertise spans computer vision, natural language processing, predictive analytics, and robotics. He has been instrumental in establishing AI Innovation Hubs and Exchanges in India, and as President of Vitti Research Foundation, he advocates for AI adoption in the public interest, with a focus on ensuring equitable access during India's AI transition. He additionally serves as Chairperson of the AI Advisory Board at Universal AI University.
